Engineering Manager

**Please not this is an 18 Month Fixed Term Contract**

We are looking for an Engineering Manager who will be crucial in overseeing the transition from Siebel to Salesforce (Sales Cloud/Service Cloud) for our client’s CRM and Marketing suite. This role is pivotal in managing the internal team throughout this change process, ensuring smooth operations, and supporting team members as they upskill in Salesforce technology. The successful candidate will lead the CRM & Marketing Engineering team, collaborating with implementation partners to ensure that all business needs are met and that the transition is managed effectively.

Responsibilities

• Lead the CRM & Marketing Engineering team, covering disciplines such as Development, Environments, and Support, to deliver key priorities.
• Oversee the transition from the legacy Siebel system to Salesforce (Sales Cloud/Service Cloud).
• Collaborate with external implementation partners to ensure that the new platforms align with organisational needs.
• Manage the team’s involvement in the platform implementations, ensuring that members are integrated into the process.
• Line manage and develop a high-performing, inclusive team, setting clear objectives and KPIs.
• Recognise team overperformance and address underperformance through structured performance management processes.
• Navigate the people management aspects of decommissioning legacy systems while introducing new technologies and workflows.
• Ensure that the team is adequately trained and upskilled in Salesforce technology.
• Provide continuous support and leadership during a period of significant organisational change.
