The Opportunity Worldline’s transport division in the UK&I helps passengers travel on public transport everyday by providing critical technology along the customer journey from start to finish – our teams have decades of unrivalled experience in developing and running systems that reflect the complex processes that underpin transport – we are a key and trusted supplier. We are trusted to handle £345billion in payment transactions annually and is experienced at managing complex projects in the UK and around the world, such as: the IT settlement system that ensures all revenue from UK rail ticket sales (c8bn a year) is apportioned to the different operators correctly rail operations products and customer information systems for National Rail the next-generation mobile ticketing solutions such as in Paris, the Mobility as a Service offering in the West of England, bringing together all modes of transport so customers can to plan, book and pay for their journeys in a single app We are currently hiring a Sales Executive to focus on new business sales working within the UK Transport Sales team to support the revenue growth through our existing customer base alongside driving new business sales with new clients. Day-to-Day Responsibilities? Manage sales opportunities end to end from lead generation to contract signature Create a strong relationship with the client where a level of trust and reputation can be built Maintain a prospecting plan and work to convert the prospects into opportunities for larger deals or proof of concepts including Account Plans where appropriate Respond to RFIs, RfPs, tenders and product customer proposals Drive further revenue earning opportunities through fertilisation of the existing accounts capturing and maintaining these in Salesforce as the primary pipe and sales performance tool Work closely with your peers, Sales Managers and Account Directors to be successful as a team Who Are We Looking For Our ideal Sales Executive will have a can-do attitude, a hunger to learn and grow their career in sales. In practice this means: You can help potential customers understand our product capabilities and how these can solve their business challenges 2-3 years previous experience working in product / solution sales A motivation and passion for solving customer problems You will be a self-starter who can convert prospects into pipeline opportunities by building trusted relationships Ideally will have some UK Transport, payments or public transport mobility industry knowledge or can demonstrate a high aptitude in sales in synergy markets Perks & Benefits At Worldline you’ll get the chance to be at the heart of the global payments technology industry and shape how the world pays and gets paid.
