We have an exciting opportunity for a Transport Shift Manager to join us at our Hub in Rugby . We're always on the lookout for top talent to join our growing business. This is a 4 over 7 role PM shift which typically runs 16:00-02:00 but can vary depending on time of year and workloads. Ensuring the Transport Supervisors work effectively and in a timely manner to despatch and conduct effective driver debriefs. Responsible for multi-channel Transport operation despatching parcels daily through primary network in peak periods and B2C collections weekly Support the Transport Operations Manager to develop a peak plan in line with forecasted volumes and or changes in automation to meet financial and resourcing needs Lead by example in creating a high-performance people orientated culture/ employee engagement/ Carrying out regular individual 121's, performance reviews and team meetings with team Accountable for H&S and quality audits including risk assessments and safe systems of work in the Hub Responsible for overall shift performance, compliance, client service levels, health and safety, employee engagement. Accountable for sending detailed shift reports, root causing failed KPI's supported evidence and an action plan to improve What skills/qualifications are required? • CPC National qualification • PC Literate • Full current driving licence • Knowledge of Transport Operations • Must be able to work on own initiative in a pressurised environment What can we offer you?
