Job Title: Science Teacher (KS3) Location: Canterbury, Kent Contract: Fulltime, Long-term Start: September 2024 Science Teacher – Canterbury We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated KS3 Science Teacher to join our dynamic science department. The successful candidate will be passionate about inspiring young minds and have the ability to deliver engaging and challenging lessons across Key Stage 3. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver high-quality science lessons in line with the KS3 curriculum. Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback and support. Foster a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and a love for science. Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies and resources. Participate in extracurricular activities and school events to enhance the overall student experience. Engage with parents and carers to support students' academic and personal development. Essential Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. A degree in Science or a related subject. Experience teaching science at the secondary level, particularly within KS3. Strong subject knowledge and a passion for science education. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
