Procurement Category Manager

Technology Birmingham (mainly remote, 2-3 days a month on site) c. £55,000 + Bonus + Excellent Benefits The Company Our client is a market leading specialist providing business critical services that support the infrastructure of some of the UKs largest companies. They are looking to appoint a Procurement Category Manager, ideally with proven experience of public procurement, to ensure the continued growth and success of the business. The Role Working closely with a portfolio of contracts, you will be responsible for developing and implementing category management best practice for the contracts supporting them with all their procurement needs. You will be leading the end-to-end public procurement process which will require management of the Request for Information (RFI) and Request for Proposal (RFP) processes in order to secure compliant bids and to award a service provider. You will support contract management, supplier relationship management and supplier performance activities working closely with the contract management and procurement team.
