Senior Commercial Legal Counsel (8 PQE+)

This large and fast-growing telecoms infrastructure business, with over 2000 employees throughout Europe, are looking for a smart, commercial and a technically able lawyer to join their expanding team.They are happy to consider someone with a private practice background, looking for their first in house role, or someone already working in house who is looking for their next challenge.They are looking for someone who is seeking a generalist commercial in house role, but who has some knowledge of corporate law to assist the Head of Legal with documentation from previous M&A activity.You will also work with the team to deal with negotiating and drafting commercial contracts of varying complexity.The role will involve:Reviewing, drafting and negotiating contracts and other legal documents, including supplier/vendor agreements, customer contracts, licensing agreements, services contracts, NDAs and tender documentsDealing with the regulatory and compliance work.Working with the Head of Legal and Corporate M&A team on M&A activity and post-completion implementation (due diligence requirements; analysing and briefing the Executive Team and driving projects to completion).Leading on day to day company secretarial work, alongside external advisors and junior team membersStructure simplificationRegulatory and ComplianceEssential Requirements:A UK qualified lawyer with a minimum of 8 years PQE in Commercial Law or Corporate Law gained either in house or in private practiceSome regulatory & corporate governance experienceAn interest in the telecoms sectorCollaborative mindsetOn offer is a fantastic corporate culture, that is friendly and supportive, as well as good career progression.
