Exciting Opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor in Thames Ditton (Surrey) Are you a Quantity Surveyor looking for a rewarding role with a dynamic consultancy? My client a multidisciplinary consultancy specializing in high-end residential projects, is seeking to expand there Quantity Surveying team. With a competitive salary starting from £40,000 per year, plus additional benefits including gym membership, 20 days holiday plus bank holidays, and around 2 weeks off at Christmas, this role offers an attractive package for the right candidate. They also offer support for attaining APC if desired. Description: Reporting to the Head of Quantity Surveying, the successful candidate will be responsible for: * Leading the cost management of multiple projects from inception to completion. * Overseeing the preparation of tender documents, contracts, budgets, pricing documents, and other documentation. * Managing and mentoring a team of quantity surveyors and ensuring high standards of work are maintained. * Advising on procurement strategy and contractual claims. * Assessing the commercial impact of design changes and providing cost-effective solutions. Successful Candidate Will Have: * A recognized degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline, coupled with significant professional experience in the residential sector. * Chartered status with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) or equivalent. * A strong track record in financial management and cost control on large-scale residential projects. * Demonstrated leadership skills and experience in managing a team of quantity surveyors. * Excellent problem-solving abilities and a client-focused approach. * Exceptional organizational and communication skills, able to effectively coordinate with all levels of staff and external stakeholders.
