About Our Client: Our client, a well-established manufacturing company in County Antrim, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Fitter to join their team. This role involves maintaining and repairing machinery and equipment to ensure smooth and efficient production operations. Key Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical equipment and machinery. Conduct preventive maintenance to improve reliability and minimize downtime. Diagnose and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues efficiently. Collaborate with production teams to support operational goals and ensure equipment availability. Participate in the installation, testing, and commissioning of new machinery and equipment. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance tasks. Qualifications and Skills: Trade certification or relevant qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Proven experience as a Maintenance Fitter in an industrial or manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics. Perks and Benefits: Competitive salary in the range of £40,000 - £45,000 per annum.
