Class 2 Driver

The Recruitment Co are seeking a Class 2 Driver in Ellesmere Port Description We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Class 2 Driver in Ellesmere Port for a multi-drop position. As a Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods to various locations, ensuring timely and safe transportation. Responsibilities Conducting pre-trip inspections of the vehicle and ensuring it is in good working order before each shift Safely and accurately loading and unloading goods from the vehicle Planning routes and ensuring efficient delivery of goods Completing delivery paperwork and maintaining accurate records Adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations while operating the vehicle Communicating with dispatch to provide updates on delivery progress Providing excellent customer service and representing the company in a professional manner Requirements Hold a valid Class 2 driver's license ( 2 years min please ) Proven experience as a Class 2 Driver, preferably in a multi-drop role Sound knowledge of vehicle maintenance and inspection procedures Excellent understanding of local traffic laws and regulations Strong organisational skills and ability to plan routes effectively Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and efficiently, with minimal supervision Physically fit and able to lift heavy items as required PAY Min of 10 hours a day paid £15.89 before 10 hours - £17.72 pay after 10 hours work.
