Technical Business Analyst

Technical Business Analyst (12 Month FTC) The Opportunity Due to the requirement for maternity cover, we are looking for a Technical Business Analyst to join our IT Development team based in Blackburn on a 12-month fixed-term contract. As part of the team you will be responsible for identifying, implementing and reviewing a range of technical and process improvements to drive continuous increases in productivity across the business. Some notable projects you’ll be involved in from the outset will be a new ERP system to better track and document activities, as well as a new reporting system for our Environmental, Social & Governance obligations. Due to the nature of the company you will be collaborating with and acting as a core liaison between a diverse range of teams and professions in addition to working closely with key stakeholders and 3rd parties. The Role Reporting to the Business System Lead you will be responsible for: * Interviewing departments and working collaboratively to create process maps * Identifying quick wins in existing processes / systems and working with key stakeholders to improve processes * Documenting a project’s business and technical requirements * Evaluating ways of implementing software products into business operations * Gathering requirements and acceptance criteria from management and end users * Acting as the liaison between the IT Department and the wider business to work towards the wider strategic goals of the business The Person Skills/Experience * At least 5 years’ experience in designing and implementing business systems * Knowledge of systems architecture and design * Financial experience is essential, preferably Business Central * Experience in Microsoft Power Platform (advantageous) * Experience with Monday . Com software (advantageous) * A high level of confidentiality, tact and diplomacy * Ability to communicate with all levels of the business Who are Vital Energi?
