Position: Team Leader
Shift: Monday to Friday
PM 2PM-10PM
Location: Rugby
Pay: 12.19 Per Hour (Permanent Role with a 3-Month Probation Period)
Job Description:
As a Team Leader in our warehouse operations, your primary responsibility is to lead and inspire a team of Warehouse Operatives. Your role will focus on maximizing productivity through KPI management and ensuring exceptional quality standards at all times. Accountabilities During Your Shift:
- Lead and motivate a team of Warehouse Operatives (typically 10 to 20 per shift).
- Oversee the operations in your area, including throughputs, parcel presentation, and productivity levels.
- Support the Supervisor in maintaining the quality of all manual sortation.
- Manage and control various key performance indicators (KPIs) and compliance metrics, including mis-sorts, damages, scanning compliance, client SLAs, load presentation, infeed targets, and more.
- Communicate daily performance and address any issues to the Supervisors.
- Ensure that all necessary shift documentation is completed to the required standard and within set timescales.
- Assist in shift rota management.
- Support the induction, coaching, and training of Warehouse Operatives.
- Attend regular one-on-one meetings and performance reviews with your Supervisor.
- Uphold health and safety (H&S) and hygiene requirements in the manual area and the Hub.
- Provide Supervisory cover when requested and help deliver excellent operational standards.
- Lead by example to create a professional and positive work environment for Warehouse Operatives.
To Be Successful in This Role, You Will Require: Qualifications:
- Good basic math and English skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency with iPads.
Knowledge & Experience:
- Ideally, previous experience in a Team Leading role.
- Understanding of basic KPIs and their drivers.
- Ability to work on your own initiative in a pressurized environment.

- Competence in using internal systems and equipment.
- Energetic and motivational.

This is a permanent role with a 3-month probation period, offering a competitive pay of 12.19 per hour.
