People Partner – Tech & Data

Series C - FinTech

£75k - £90k

2 days in the office


I am partnered with a scaling FinTech business who have grown from 100 to 300 heads in the last 18 months. They are now focussing on their next round of funding as well as L&D, retention and upskilling.


As People Partner you will an expert in all things people as well as Technology & Data. You will provide consultative advice to leadership, tailored coaching, drive positive change, and lead on

Employee Relations matters.


You will also play a role in company-wide people initiatives, including learning and development, employee engagement, and performance management.


A passion for and experience collaborating within/or for teams in Tech, Data, Product and Engineering is essential.


The People Partner will:

  • You'll partner with the Data, Product and Engineering business areas to align their people strategies with the goals of those business areas, becoming a trusted, expert advisor.
  • Lead on complex employee relations cases.
  • Advise on organisational design based on growth and intentions.
  • Create and deliver Learning and Development initiatives to enhance skills across the organisation.
  • Administer key companywide programs like the Talent Review Cycle and Engagement Surveys, supporting data collation and integrity, fostering a culture of high performance and growth.
  • Proactively reviewing data to spot employee relations trends and suggest solutions, coaching Managers to tackle issues early on.


The People Partner skills and experience:

  • Previous experience working in a People role within a fast growth, technology-led organisation, ideally supporting multiple geographies.
  • Have strong knowledge of UK employment law and best practice.
  • Complex ER cases experience.
  • Genuinely care about working with employees, offering empathy, building trust quickly throughout your area of responsibility.
  • Demonstrate analytical, problem solving and decision making skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, building strong relationships with trust & confidence, as well as having the ability to influence.
