SEN Teaching Assistant

We are working with a SEN Secondary School in the Merstham area who are looking for an experienced and qualified SEN Teaching Assistant to start when the new term begins in September. The school caters for students with EHC Plans of social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties and a range of additional learning difficulties including Autism and Moderate Learning Difficulties. They are looking for a permanent member of staff and will be holding interviews ASAP. Your key duties as a SEN Teaching Assistant will be to: * Support students in 1:1 and on a small group basis. * Follow IEPs. * Manage any challenging behaviour. * Work under the direction of the class teacher. * Provide emotional and academic support for your students It is essential that you have previous experience supporting pupils with SEN and being able to help students with their work who are academically struggling. The school is set in a suburban site in Merstham in a nice residential area. You will be rewarded with excellent rates of pay of £90 - £95 per day.
