We truly value our people and our culture, which makes Recurrent Energy an exciting and rewarding place to work.Position summary:Following the rapid ongoing growth of the company and exciting plans within the HV team we are pleased to introduce the role of HV Contracts Manager.You will be part of a widespread and large team of Electricians providing preventative and corrective site maintenance across the O&M portfolio. The position will mean supporting technicians working on the HV networks remotely, as well as regular site visits to carry out training, QA and operational tasks. You will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with clients and address their business needs. You will be responsible for maintaining a high level of H&S throughout the HV operations, including reviewing switching schedules, reviewing/updating Recurrent Energy safety rules and making sure these processes are followed. You will ensure that the documentation is up to date and organised and that the business is fully supported in all HV requirements of the company. The position also includes management of Recurrent Energy HV partner framework operations, this includes scheduling PM, tracking the work, and making sure all reporting is in on time and to standards. You will have comprehensive knowledge of DC, LV & HV systems and circuit protection and will be able to diagnose any issues remotely. All electrical work must be carried out in accordance with industry standards and good Health and Safety practices.Responsabilities:General management of your day-to-day operations Management of HV contractors, including SSE and HVPSManagement of contractors for HVPMHV maintenance tracker manager for your designated regionControl engineer duties and field team supportContinuation and increase of management of O&M corrective projects, involving contractorsSupporting the HV lead with AP training as and when requiredNegotiating new HV contracts as required and terms for corrective workDeveloping and maintaining contractor relationshipsRAMS authorisation alongside HV adminClient engagement on HV pointsSupporting in the recruitment process of HV team membersTraining and support with all new starters in HV teamCorrective work project managementAP training and authorisationHV project teamworkContribution to HV business plan where work is done inhouse live the Recurrent Energy ValuesRecognise issues and assess risks Keep up to date with industry standards and technology reporting any findings to managementParticipate in internal and external training Ensure compliance with Recurrent Energy health and safety policyRecommend improvements and modificationsInvestigate complaints and recommend corrective action as necessary to resolve complaints.Build and maintain positive working relationships with all stakeholders including the publicParticipate in internal and external meetings as requestedKey skills:Must hold 18th Edition Electrical Regulations qualificationSenior Authorised Person or Approved Authorised Person authorisation held in other positionCandidates preferably will be degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or be HNC qualified.5 years + experience working directly with high voltage equipment.Be able to demonstrate relevant knowledge of HV & LV distribution systems.Experience of working with central inverter manufacturers would be preferable but not essentialWorked on large scale solar projectsHave a comprehensive knowledge of the BS 7671 Wiring Regulation StandardsMust have a comprehensive knowledge of DC Electrical systems You must be able to understand site drawings and SLDs.Must be able to work under pressure and deal with emergency situations.Excellent communication skills to maintain strong client relationships.Must have strong IT skillsMust be hardworking, reliable, and flexibleMust be able to work well as part of a teamMust have strong communication skillsPossess good attention to detail.Benefits:25 days annual leave plus bank holidaysLife policy – 4 x annual salaryPrivate healthcareEnhanced pension scheme – 5% employer contributionEnhanced Maternity and Paternity packageCompanywide bonus schemeLaptopBike to work scheme
