W Talent are now working exclusively with a leading FMCG company in the non-food sector, who are seeking a Health and Safety Manager to join their dynamic senior team in Rotherham. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a fast-paced environment where safety, compliance, and continuous improvement are at the forefront of operations. Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive Health and Safety policies and procedures in line with current legislation and industry best practices. Conduct regular risk assessments, audits, and inspections to ensure compliance across all departments and processes. Lead incident investigations, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences. Provide expert advice and support to management and staff on all Health and Safety matters, promoting a culture of safety awareness. Develop and deliver Health and Safety training to employees at all levels to ensure they understand their roles and responsibilities. Liaise with external regulatory bodies, ensuring all certifications, permits, and standards are maintained. Monitor and report on Health and Safety performance metrics, continuously seeking opportunities for improvement. Stay up to date with changes in Health and Safety legislation and regulations, ensuring the company remains compliant. Manage and lead emergency response plans and procedures. Key Requirements: NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent Health and Safety qualification. Proven experience as a Health and Safety Manager, ideally within the FMCG or manufacturing sector. Strong knowledge of UK Health and Safety legislation and regulations. Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels. Experience conducting risk assessments, audits, and managing incident investigations. Ability to work independently, with strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to safety management.
