System Support Engineer

This role involves delivering top-tier proactive and reactive support to managed service customers, configuring and maintaining systems, mentoring less experienced engineers, and ensuring high availability of infrastructure. Additionally, the engineer will assist in the implementation of new projects and manage customer-specific specialisms.What you’ll be doing Administer and maintain computer networks, systems software, applications, and hardware configurations across diverse customer environments.Oversee, maintain, and patch Azure Stack Systems.Execute disaster recovery operations and data backups as needed.Troubleshoot and resolve issues with hardware, software, and network systems.Monitor system performance proactively, making adjustments to optimize efficiency.Manage system and infrastructure monitoring for customers, ensuring high availability.Implement security, backup, resilience, and disaster recovery strategies.Develop and update user guides and knowledge-based articles to enhance system efficiency and reduce manual intervention.Collaborate with vendors and boxxe technical staff to resolve problems.Participate in the after-hours on-call rotation.What experience we think you’ll need
