By using a consultative approach to selling, this person will use their expertise to identify and qualify leads, leading to sales opportunities with both new and existing customers. ResponsibilitiesIdentify, develop, and implement effective sales plans, action plans and strategiesMeet or exceed defined sales targetsMaintain open communication and collaborate with internal cross-functional partners, including Product, Sales Planning, etc. to maximize revenueDirectly contributing to product development process through active participation in product reviews by providing market & client insightsUsing knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiatorsDevelop strategic relationships with key decision-makers of dealers and customersDevelop leads and build the pipelineNegotiate pricing, prepare proposals and close salePartner with the Account Management team to service, maintain and grow current clientsSales payment collectionSuccessfully create business from new and existing customer accountsBuild rapport and establish long term relationships with customersQualificationsSolid Sales Experience with construction machinery (ideally excavators)Solid quota carrying sales experienceExperience and working knowledge of CRM systemsDemonstrable track record of over-achieving quotaStrong written and verbal communication skillsA great work ethic
