Vehicle Technician

Job Summary:
We are currently seeking skilled Vehicle Technicians of all levels for our client in Carlisle.

There are a number of different shift patterns.

There are roles for the following :

• Prep technicians up to £31,500 plus optional overtime.
• Service Technicians up to £34,500 plus optional overtime.
• Senior Technicians up to £40,000 plus optional overtime.
• Master Technicians up to £40,000 plus optional overtime.

The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and be proficient in using hand tools and power tools.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine maintenance on vehicles, including oil changes, tyre rotations, and brake inspections
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with vehicles
• Perform vehicle inspections to identify potential problems and recommend appropriate solutions
• Use hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs and maintenance tasks
• Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work done on vehicles

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or similar role
• Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy in work
