£40,000 + Approx. £2,500 Tronc Platinum Recruitment is working in partnership with this multi award winning restaurant close to Bristol and we have a fantastic opportunity for a Sous Chef to join their team. This stunning venue is well known within the area and could be an exciting addition to your C.V! What's in it for you? This modern European inspired restaurant is looking for someone who is ready to take the next step in their career and focus on the training & development of a team whilst also being able to showcase their skills in a fine dining restaurant producing food to a 3AA rosette level. You will also get to work under a well-known Head Chef who has worked in multiple award winning venues, so you can continue to learn your trade. You will have the opportunity to learn a lot working alongside the Head Chef evolving and shaping the future of the kitchen and the next generation of budding chefs. What's involved? A successful Sous Chef will work alongside a talented Head Chef & team. Duties include planning menus, making sure food is of the right quality and standard, managing stock, ordering food from local suppliers, controlling a budget, keeping accurate records, managing health and hygiene procedures, organising the staff duty rota, recruiting, training, and developing staff. Coordinates with restaurant management team on supply ordering budget, and kitchen efficiency and staffing. Minimum of 2AA Rosette experience required to be considered for the role.
