Adult Support Worker - Bury

Adult Support Worker  Residential Care Home, Bury (will also be required to work in the community - in people's own homes) Umbrella Pay- £14.98 per hour 2 months initially Part time evening shift work (5 hrs per shift) – 4.30pm – 9.30pm  2 week rolling rota – Week 1 – Mon, Tues, Sat and Sun – Week 2 – Wed, Thurs, Fri Support, assist and promote the reablement of customers with identified needs, enabling customers to reach their own potential, maintain their independence and continue to live in their own home or return to their own home after a concentrated period of support Contribute in the assessment and review of customers’ needs in order to support an accurate and therapeutic goal plan Contribute to the delivery, evaluation and changed to goal plans Provide solutions to assist recovery Assist customers with the use of aids and equipment in line with their goal plans Assist and support customers, including those with complex needs and behaviours, with daily living tasks such as personal care, enabling them to undertake these themselves in line with their personal goal plan and risk assessments Help with social activities and have an understanding of any emotional difficulty or needs the customer may express Maintain a safe and stimulating physical environment for customers Encourage and motivate customers Work with colleagues from health and other professional agencies Keep and maintain accurate records of work Attend meetings and reviews where necessary Requirements UK Driving Licence, access to a vehicle, business insurance Must have the following training complete (Moving and Handling, Food Hygiene, Health & Safety, Infection Control, Emergency First Aid, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, GDPR) Experience working with adults in a social care setting Ability to contribute to the development of customers’ goal plans Understanding customer needs and maintaining independence Enhanced Child and Adult DBS registered to the update service Recruitment is done in line with safe recruitment practices. 4Recruitment Services in an equal opportunities employer.
