Mathematics Teacher

An SEMH school in Spennymoor requires an enthusiastic Mathematics teacher to teach lower maths to year 7/8 classes. Preferably with experience of teaching in SEMH. This could be half days only Monday to Friday but would be full time if that is possible. This is projected to be for this half term in the first instance. You will be proactive in your approach to working with students from challenging backgrounds and be encouraging, energetic, engaging and supportive students. The school is dedicated to excellence in teaching, learning and relationships and demands high standards of behaviour, inclusion and engagement. Class sizes are small to encourage close relationships and a personal learning approach. The school is mixed sex and has supportive and friendly staff and managers.
