Compliance Manager

Job Title: Compliance Manager (Energy) Location: Hybrid Basingstoke/Remote Reports to: Senior Compliance Manager About Tomato Energy: Tomato Energy is a leading energy supplier dedicated to delivering sustainable and reliable energy solutions to our customers. We prioritize compliance and regulatory excellence in all our operations to ensure we meet and exceed industry standards. Key Responsibilities: Assist in developing and implementing compliance policies and procedures. Conduct regular compliance reviews and internal audits to ensure adherence to regulations. Coordinate regulatory submissions. Ensure their completeness, correctness, and timely submission. Prepare comprehensive compliance reports for senior management. Coordinate with various departments to ensure seamless compliance integration across the organisation. Handle day-to-day compliance queries and issues, providing timely and effective resolutions. Monitor and track regulatory changes and assess their implications for the business. Maintain accurate and up-to-date compliance records and databases. Qualifications and Experience: Proven experience in a compliance or policy role, preferably with an energy supplier or with Ofgem. In-depth knowledge of energy sector policies and regulations. Familiarity with environmental schemes, such as the Renewables Obligation and Feed-in Tariff, would be beneficial. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Business Analyst experience would be advantageous. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively coordinate across departments. Ability to stay updated with regulatory changes and adapt compliance strategies accordingly. Proficiency in maintaining compliance records and databases.
