Job Title: Teacher of Mathematics Location: Ilford, London Position: Full-Time Mathematics Teacher Start Date: ASAP/January 2025 Salary: Competitive, based on experience and qualifications The Role We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Mathematics Teacher to join our team full-time from January 2025. This permanent position offers the opportunity to inspire students in the fascinating world of mathematics, fostering a love for the subject and developing their analytical skills. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging and structured mathematics lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, in line with the national curriculum. Encourage students to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills through a variety of teaching methods. Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level Mathematics exams, providing support and resources to help them excel. Monitor and assess student progress, offering constructive feedback and targeted support. Contribute to the development of the mathematics curriculum, including resources and innovative teaching strategies. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes a growth mindset and confidence in mathematics.About You: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. A degree in Mathematics or a related field. Strong subject knowledge and a passion for mathematics education. Experience teaching mathematics at GCSE and A-Level is preferred. Excellent communication and classroom management skills. A commitment to helping students achieve their potential and fostering a supportive learning environment.
