Have you got a passion for supporting children who require that extra bit of support and flexibility in the approach of education to acheive their full potential?Protocol Education are working with a Special Needs School in Bourne End, High Wycombe who provide children with Special needs, Emotional, social and behavioural needs to enable them to access and acheive within their educational journey.Working along side a talented, compassionate team, the successful candidate will strive to be the difference for these children, adapting their approach according to the specific child they are assigned to support. With an understanding that behaviour is a form of communication, being able to see beyond these behaviours to get to the route cause and apply strategies to support the child through this to grow and develop their ability to progress within school.Hours: 8:30am-4pmResponsibilities: Provide personalized support to individuals with varying difficultiesAssist in daily activities and routinesFoster a safe and inclusive environmentCollaborate with a team to implement care plans Requirements: Compassionate and patient demeanorStrong communication and empathyExperience or understanding of autism spectrum disordersAbility to adapt to varying needs Preferred: Previous experience in a similar roleTraining in autism support or related fieldsKnowledge of behavior management techniques Experience within a similar field would be beneficial such as support or care work but the essential skills required are a strong character and desire to make a difference.
