ABC Teachers are looking to recruit Teaching Assistants in the Shrewsbury area to work in Key Stage 1 (KS1) within primary schools. We have a variety of general support and SEN roles available, with opportunities throughout the autumn term. The Role This position includes: Full-time and part-time hours, typically from 08:30 to 15:30. Supporting pupils’ emotional, mental, and educational development. Immediate start available, with additional roles starting from November. The Schools You will be working in primary schools across Shrewsbury, where ABC Teachers have established long-term partnerships. Requirements To be considered for this Teaching Assistant position, you will: Have a positive attitude towards working with pupils and staff in a school setting. Have referenceable experience in a childcare or education setting. A childcare qualification is preferred but not essential; relevant experience will also be considered. Be committed to school hours. Be able to provide references covering the last two years. Hold or be willing to obtain a DBS registered on the update service.
