Be part of one of LinkedIn's Top Companies for 2024 We're seeking an experienced Security Engineer (Applications) to join our expanding IT Team.As Security Engineer, you'll play a key role in the business by identifying potential vulnerabilities and designing solutions in order to appropriately protect Clarion's applications from cyber-attacks. We'll look to you to carry out risk-based threat modelling and code reviews. You'll use your excellent communication and team building skills to work collaboratively with our software engineering and enterprise application teams as well as engaging with colleagues across the wider business. You'll also be required to deputise for the Security Architect from time to time.To be successful, you'll need an advanced understanding and knowledge of application development principles and frameworks, such as OWASP. You'll demonstrate a risk-based yet pragmatic approach to your work as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.With hybrid working, base locations across England and flexible working arrangements this could be the opportunity you've been waiting for!
