I am working with an established, growing Social Housing Contractor who specialise within decarbonisation/energy efficiency works and are a leading specialist within their field.

This is working on a project in the Birmingham area, and the project will consist of the installation of EWI, new windows and fire entrance doors and loft insulation to tenanted properties. This is a permanent position and the company have a healthy pipeline of work in the area for after this contract is finished.

As Site Manager, you will be responsible for running the site, with occasional visits from the Contracts Manager. Your duties will be:

  • Managing a site team including Tradesman, Subcontractors and Tenant Liaison Officer, ensuring works are being carried out to programme and within budget
  • Monitoring health and safety on site
  • Attending progress meetings, client meetings
  • Liaising with tenants and resolving any issues that may arise

The successful candidate must have a background within Social Housing, ideally with experience of working on EWI/Roofing/Retrofit projects.

You must have a sound knowledge of Health & Safety on site and have good technical and commercial awareness. In addition, you must also hold a relevant CSCS card, SMSTS and valid First Aid.

The salary on offer is between 42k - 45k + 4k car allowance or the option of company car.
