Practice Group Manager Law Firm

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Practice Group Manager to join a global law firm’s London office. This position is integral to the business services function and part of a growing practice management team responsible for the efficient management and strategic development of the Disputes practice. Oversee practice-specific data management, including tracking pitches, client outreach, and staffing. Support the development of strategic business goals in alignment with firm strategy and help ensure European efforts are integrated within the broader firm. Collaborate with the professional development and diversity teams to promote attorney development, diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives. Manage talent across the Disputes group, working closely with HR and leadership to oversee recruiting, performance management, and attorney reviews. Help to develop and deliver educational trainings and Continuing Legal Education (CLE) programming specific to the practice group. Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously. Comfort with data analysis and reporting or a willingness to learn. Bachelor’s degree required, with 5+ years of practice management or similar experience, ideally within a legal or professional services environment.
