Grounds Maintenance

Position: Grounds Maintenance Location: Sittingbourne Salary: £11.44 - £12.15ph Employment Type: Temp to Perm Shift: 8am - 4:30pm The sucsessful applicant must hold a valid UK drivers licence and have their own transport. Job Description: We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our client’s team on a temporary-to-permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a passion for working outdoors and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation across various grounds. Key Responsibilities: * Grounds Maintenance: Performing general grounds maintenance duties, including mowing, strimming, weeding, pruning, and litter picking. * Landscaping: Assisting with soft and hard landscaping tasks as required. * Equipment Operation: Safely operating and maintaining grounds maintenance equipment such as lawnmowers, hedge trimmers, and leaf blowers. * Health & Safety: Adhering to all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. * Teamwork: Working effectively within a team to complete tasks efficiently and to a high standard. * Other Duties: Performing any other related tasks as directed by the supervisor or site manager. Requirements: * Valid UK Manual Driving Licence: Must possess a full, clean UK manual driving licence. * Experience: Previous experience in grounds maintenance or landscaping is highly desirable. * Physical Fitness: Must be physically fit and capable of performing manual labor in various weather conditions. * Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards. * Reliability: Punctual, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team. * Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to various tasks as required by the role.
