Trading Operations Specialist

Operations Specialist - Python, Go, SQL, Automation, Crypto, Middle Office I am seeking an Operations Specialist to join my client who is a leading Algorithmic Trading fund based in London. In this role, you will have exposure to the wider areas of the business helping to develop new and enhance existing processes utilising your strong technical background. Key Responsibilities: Provide trade support, including daily reconciliation of cash, positions, and trading activities. Resolve daily issues through communication with counterparties and exchanges. Build and automate processes to streamline workflows. Collaborate with the technology team on tool and application development. Manage cash and collateral across multiple brokers and clearinghouses. Generate various reports, including P&L, risk, and treasury reports. Conduct live risk monitoring and escalate issues as needed. Oversee regulatory reporting processes. Facilitate onboarding of new exchanges, counterparties, brokers, or products globally. Gain exposure to diverse asset classes throughout the trade lifecycle. Execute trades and conduct data analysis on an ad-hoc basis. Key Skills: 2-5 years of relevant industry experience, including knowledge of at least one asset class from a trading operations perspective. Strong programming skills in Python and Go, with SQL proficiency for data manipulation and process automation. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset. Strong analytical skills and enjoys solving complex problems in fast-paced settings. Proactive, detail-oriented, and self-motivated with a disciplined approach to work. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. A keen interest in working in Crypto. This is a full-time role offering a competitive salary of up to £125k plus a strong bonus and benefits package. You will be required to travel to the office 4 days per week.
