The role

We are seeking an experienced commercial HR business partner to lead and drive the people transformation to support the businesses growth agenda. You ll be responsible for crafting and executing the people strategies that drive business growth and position the business as a world leader in trusted intelligence.

We are looking for a high performing, transformational HR business partner that has a deep appreciation for delivering employee value at the moments that matter the most in the employee lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have several years of experience as an HR Business partner to a commercial leadership team, as well as a broader experience of leading multidisciplinary HR projects and teams.

What you ll be doing

- Partner with the CEO and leadership team of the division to fully understand key business performance issues, objectives and drivers, and associated people requirements to meet current and future business challenges.

- Responsible for the planning, designing, and evaluating people-related initiatives that support the immediate and future organisational strategic goals, being flexible enough to cope with changes in the organisation as and when they occur.

- Working closely with the leadership team and other points of contact to increase the capability within the team/s you support consulting with the senior leadership as well as others in the broader GD people function (Talent, Learning and Development, TA, Reward) to identify succession gaps within the business and address these to support the delivery of long-term business objectives.

- Collaboratively work with other functional areas to develop innovative, timely and cost-effective best practice solutions that can be implemented across the business. This should include recruitment and selection practices, retention approaches, performance management, absence management, etc.

- Challenge & support leaders across functions to align behaviours/attitudes that support the development of a high-performance culture.

- Provide HR leadership and guidance on M&A activity with a focus on talent and cultural integration.

- Performance management Champion high-performance culture across your client group. Coach, influence, up-skill and encourage senior leaders to provide clear direction and line managers to provide continuous goal clarity, feedback, and development.

- Management of the people aspect of restructures, ensuring redeployment, upskilling, and redundancies are run according to policy and best practice and completed within timescales, budget and legislation. Provide advice to Senior Stakeholders as appropriate.

- Partner with the GD HR advisory team to help with implementation and execution of people related activities.

- Own and manage the workforce plan for the business, ensuring that the plan is aligned to the business outcomes.

- Cultivate a culture of relentless ambition, pushing boundaries and challenging the status quo.

- To lead with and develop an environment of curiosity, courage and collaboration.

What we re looking for

-Significant experience in a HR Business Partner role, experience managing a multidiscipline, global client group is preferred.

- A background in professional services, tech, data or information services is preferred but not essential.

- A proven track record developing and implementing innovative people solutions that drive employee experience at an operational, tactical, and strategic level.

- Experience leading transformational organisation design projects, developing frameworks that create significant change from an efficiency and financial perspective.

- Advanced knowledge of delivering workforce planning initiatives, influencing leadership teams, and partnering with HR COEs to form a cohesive strategy.

- Experience driving the people vision through M&A transactions is essential.

- A highly analytical mindset, driven by using people data and analytics to inform decision making, highlighting risks and opportunities to the people agenda.

- Exceptional communication skills, able to build rapport and influence stakeholders at every level of the organisation.

- Established experience coaching current and future leaders.

- Strong financial literacy and commercial acumen, experienced financial planning, budgeting, and reporting.

- Highly effective organisational skills, able to confidently manage competing deadlines and priorities.

- Displays a commitment to confidentiality and integrity.
