Role Overview:
The Internal Sales Manager maximise sales revenue within their allocated geographical portfolio of customers. They focus on growing their existing accounts whilst also looking for opportunities to deliver new business. Through their knowledge and service, they develop the reputation of the business whilst growing Toolstreams market share.
They have responsibility for lead generation and building a pipeline of high-quality prospects. Customer satisfaction is key and they ensure satisfaction throughout the sales and ordering process to ensure that the customer has a positive experience.
Main Responsibilities:
- To achieve against set Sales targets by daily outbound telephone calls to customers
- Utilises the promotional support information available to target and promote new ranges and initiatives to drive further sales
- Builds an engaging, positive relationship with their customers through maintaining high standards of customer service and care during and between interactions
- Drives, develops and delivers sales opportunities through new accounts across the portfolio
- Actively manages designated accounts to drive commercial sales and build customer retention
- Ensures the account base continues to consistently grow
Required Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
- Previous outbound sales customer sales experience or customer service experience
- Results/target driven
- Experience of working in a role making outbound sales calls
- Ability to use Word and Excel and learn new systems as required
- Tenacity - the determination to close a sale and see through to a conclusion
- Ability to manage personal workload and prioritise accordingly
