Job Title: Programme Manager

About the Role:
As a Programme Manager, you will be responsible for driving the successful execution of our publishing plan, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget. You will lead a global team, optimise processes, and collaborate with key stakeholders to enhance the efficiency and performance of our publishing operations.
Role Responsibilities: Programme Management: Lead the execution of the publishing plan, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of six direct reports, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Process Optimisation: Identify new opportunities to streamline and improve publishing processes to enhance efficiency and productivity across the global team.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including the BPO team, to align goals and achieve successful outcomes.
Data Utilisation: Develop data insights that drive strategic planning and workflow development. Enhance dashboards to consolidate data sources and visualise all sources of KPI data in an easy-to-understand form.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks in the programme plan and implement mitigation strategies to ensure smooth project execution.
Experience, Skills & Qualifications:
Essential
: Publishing Experience: Proven experience in programme management within the publishing industry, preferably in ELT (English Language Teaching)
Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Project Management: Strong project management skills with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget and Project Management certification.
Business intelligence experience: Demonstrable analytical skills and experience building analytical structures to surface actionable insights that improve portfolio performance.
Data modeling and managemen t: Experienced in consolidating and cleaning disparate data sets to improve usage of data to shape our delivery plans.
Desirable
: Global team experience: Experience working with global teams and managing diverse ways of working.
Change management: Experience in leading change management initiatives to improve organizational processes and culture.
Problem-solving: Experience of issue resolution, bringing together disparate teams.
Technical skills : Advanced Excel skills are essential including formula construction, add-ins and VBA. Experience working with Looker, APIs and SQL or similar programming is highly desirable.
