Marketing Manager

Salary: £50,000 to £60,000 per annum

Location: Bilston, Wolverhampton

Our client is a rapidly growing steel fabrication group located in the heart of the midlands. Over the last couple of years through acquiring 2 further businesses (one in the midlands and another in the North East) are seeking a commercially aware Marketing Manager to lead and integrate a group marketing strategy.

Reporting directly to the Directors of the business, the Marketing Manager will be a creative, bright, and highly motivated colleague who will lead our marketing activity, for the group of businesses we own.

We are looking for a confident, hands-on, self-motivated person who is able to work within a small team and has a clear understanding of marketing principles and strategies.

This is an exciting role for someone who is looking to expand their marketing and communications experience and who will be able to guide this quickly growing business into the next phase of its growth.

Your experience will include setting up and running marketing campaigns on LinkedIn, Google and email, maximising ROI and optimising campaign performance.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Implementing targeted brand awareness and lead generation campaigns both online and offline for our brands that make up the group.
  • Tracking and reporting specific sales and marketing metrics
  • Hosting strategy meetings with clients to establish requirements, guide campaign set-up and manage ongoing optimisation
  • Working closely with external partners to produce content that meets our marketing requirements
  • Working closely with our sales and business development teams to develop and manage our own marketing strategy

What we need from you:

  • At least 3 years experience in a similar role in B2B marketing
  • Experience creating and running marketing campaigns on LinkedIn, Facebook, Google and email
  • Experience in analysing and optimising paid advertising across all platforms, including bids, spend, budget allocation and creative
  • Familiarity with campaign metrics/KPIs, strategies, technology, terminology and best practices
  • It would be advantageous if you have experience of working with video editing software such as Photoshop, Adobe Premier Pro or Final Cut to edit in-house promotional content.
  • Experience working in a client-facing role, with excellent verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Strong people skills with the ability to build internal and external relationships and networks
  • Strong copywriting and keyword research skills
  • Ability to work autonomously in a high-functioning team, contribute ideas and accept recommendations
  • Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects with exceptional time management
  • A creative eye with strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude
