Economic Development Analyst

My client, a top Macro Hedge Fund, are currently looking to add a talented Economist to their investment team in London. The successful applicant will work closely with the team's senior economists across a broad range of topics, asset classes and regions (both EM and DM) Essential Requirements: PhD or MSc. in Economics from a Russell Group or Ivy League University, graduating with top class honours PhD + 1-3 yrs of experience as a macroeconomist within a central bank, supranational or top financial institution MSc + 3-5 yrs of experience as a macroeconomist within a central bank, supranational or top financial institution An extremely strong grasp of econometrics and statistics Practical experience of conducting empirical analysis and working with large data sets
