The students require a specialist knowledge of complex learning difficulties and so ideally you have worked as an SEN Teaching Assistant in a PMLD school, although experience working in an ASD school with an understanding that the needs will be more challenging here will be acceptable. The School - PMLD School Based in the Croydon area of South London, this 150 pupil SEN school provide specialist education to primary aged children with PMLD (and ASD in some cases).
