This role offers the chance to expand your expertise in manufacturing while contributing to our future-focused initiatives. You’ll engage with projects such as Industrial Validation, manufacturing architecture, and Factory of the Future principles, which offer challenging objectives for professional growth.

Collaborating with the Principal Engineer, you will work on a variety of projects, focusing on identifying and resolving manufacturing issues, including: Supporting both existing manufacturing lines and new product introductions Assisting in the industrial validation process through FMEAs, process proving activities, and more Managing configuration control by implementing design modifications into manufacturing documentation and industrial validation processes Supporting the non-conformance process to ensure quality and compliance Ensuring products are manufactured with a focus on safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness Taking responsibility for implementing safe operating procedures for modified processes, coordinating with COSHH assessors, SHE, and human factors teams Collaborating with the design authority during the prototype and development phases to optimise Design for Manufacture (DfM) Compiling and updating Manufacturing Instructions and maintaining production BOMs Overseeing tooling development and control

Experience Required: Essential: Formal technical Engineering/Craft Apprenticeship to NVQ Level 3/TR23/TR21 Have the ability to interpret Design Drawings with a view to producing Manufacturing Build Instructions.

Desirable Formal further education certificate to HNC or equivalent in a relevant subject OR BEng in relevant Engineering Degree Able to work with minimum supervision Must demonstrate a proactive approach to problem solving and commitment to work to meet our delivery milestones.
