If you love the idea of balancing day-to-day operations with big-picture strategy, this could be just the opportunity for you The Role: As the Materials Team Leader, you’ll own the materials inventory and play a crucial role in keeping things running smoothly. But it’s not just about ticking boxes—this is a chance to lead , coach a team, and improve processes in a way that really impacts the business. You’ll be working across departments, managing everything from raw materials planning to supplier relationships. And you’ll also be the go-to person for tackling any supply challenges that arise. Here’s what you’ll be doing: Leading a small team, coaching them to hit targets, and ensuring they’re set up for success. Managing raw materials, inventory, and ensuring everything runs like clockwork. Working closely with procurement, NPD, and other teams to keep everything aligned and make sure the planning cycle works for everyone. Handling significant supply challenges—when things get tricky, you’ll be the one keeping the ship steady and finding solutions. Taking part in exciting regional and global projects, from new product launches to process improvements. What They’re Looking For: This role is ideal for someone who’s already worked in planning functions, ideally with materials & wanting to take their leadership skills to the next level. You’ll need to be hands-on but also a strategic thinker who enjoys solving problems and working with different teams. Here’s a snapshot of what you’ll need: Experience in supply chain or materials management (FMCG is a bonus). Confidence using SAP MRP and other business systems. A knack for analysing data, solving problems, and driving continuous improvement. Strong communication and people skills—you’ll be collaborating with lots of teams, so this is a must. A creative thinker who’s not afraid to challenge the status quo. Someone who can lead from the front, inspire a team, and navigate change.
