You will work 1:1 (with guidance from EYFS teacher and SENDCo) and support the child to engage in activities and interventions as outlined in their EHCP to enable them to have a happy and positive experience in school. Experience of working with non verbal children with sensory needs would be advantageous. About YouTo be successful in this role, you will ideally: Have experience of working with children and/or as a Teaching Assistant Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people Be enthusiastic, ambitious and serious about improving children's life chances through education Be highly organised, conscientious and able to set clear priorities when managing a busy workload Be able work cooperatively and communicate clearly with fellow colleagues, parents and pupils Have a 'can-do' attitude and has the ability to use their initiative Be able to work flexibly and professionallyAbout RoleWe are looking for an experienced 1:1 SEN teaching assistant to join our team, working 30 hours per week, with the working hours required being Monday to Friday.
