What Are We Looking For? As part of our strategic development across our supply chain, RSE is looking to bring onboard a Sourcing Lead to join our Procurement & Supply Chain department on a permanent basis working out of either our Inverness, Aberdeen, Edinburgh or Leeds office. This is a key hire for our business, with limitless opportunities to develop into a senior role within our organisation. You will be working alongside experienced, strategic partners who will aid in the transformation of our procurement function. Alongside this, you will be given the opportunity to lead strategic negotiations at high value level for one of the Water industry’s leading organisations. Some of Your Key Duties Include: As a Sourcing Lead at RSE you will be responsible for sourcing activities, supporting all areas of the business. The role will support critical elements of the supply chain transformation, including the full supplier lifecycle management from selection, commercial negotiation and contracting to in life supplier management. The Sourcing Lead will own the strategy and contract for their strategic procurement initiatives. Sourcing?– Work with the Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager to develop and execute the sourcing strategy. You will lead on end-to-end sourcing activity; including market assessments, complex supplier negotiations and implement contract agreements. This role will negotiate the contract and support onboarding the supplier through a robust due diligence process to ensure the supplier meets the RSE standards and policies as well as delivering commercial value. Supplier Management?– Ensure supplier compliance with RSE’s governance framework to manage the relationship and deliver contractual obligations of both parties. Measuring performance and risk, while ensuring commercial value and governance is delivered throughout the contract lifecycle via established Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) tools. What Do You Need? Experience working across the business working with senior stakeholders to develop and implement sourcing plans, with the ability to identify trends, purchasing patterns and market conditions in order to drive costs savings, supplier resilience and deliver supplier governance to mitigate risk. Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills with experience in leading high value, complex sourcing activities. Confident to constructively challenge buying trends and processes, leveraging new technologies to secure sustainable savings and add value. Experience working in a technology/digital business, showing working knowledge of Cloud, AI and automation technology. Good data analytical skills with the ability to understand financial, economic, risk and contractual data and be able to consolidate. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Full UK Driving Licence Who Are We?
