What we need in a nutshell

We are looking for a confident and experienced salesperson, able to switch between business and consumer sales with ease. You will be selling our holidays via third parties and direct to consumers who are booking group holidays.

What you’ll be doing:

You will be in frontline sales, building relationships with third parties who sell our holidays, managing sales direct to special interest groups, and identifying new routes to market. This includes:

  • Administrative duties including use of booking system, maintaining and accurate recording of data
  • Gaining new customers and maintaining the prospect database by outbound calling, networking and exhibitions
  • Preparing proposals for group bookings by liaising with other internal departments such as revenue management and inventory, marketing and the onsite operational team
  • Looking after your group customers throughout their journey with us – hosting familiarisation events, being their point of contact and working with parks to make sure they feel the Away Resorts love
  • Assist in building a network of third party partnerships and relationships to increase sales
  • Finding and establishing new opportunities and routes to market that reach different audiences at a relatively low cost and help to grow occupancy in off-peak periods

Skills, experience and qualities you’ll need:

We are looking for a confident and self-motivated sales executive who is ready to make their mark in a dynamic and growing company. If that’s you, and you can tick the boxes below, let’s hear from you.

  • Sales & customer service experience in the holiday park, hotel or hospitality sector
  • Brilliant communication skills, a sharp financial mind and computer literate with a good level of expertise in Excel
  • Bursting with enthusiasm for proactive selling, particularly on the phone
  • The ability to empathise, solve problems, and make customers feel valued
  • Great organisation and time management skills, able to see the big picture and manage the small details


It’s the icing on the cake if you have experience of using booking systems, you can present confidently and you have had some involvement in the setting of budgets and targets too.

With holiday parks across the country, we also need you to be able to drive and be willing to travel with some overnight stays.
