Marine Electrician

Marine Electrician / Electrical Engineer / Marine Engineer required to join a leading electromechanical engineering provider. The Successful Marine Electrician / Electrical Engineer / Marine Engineer will provide electrical repair, service, and maintenance on industrial electrical systems such as marine vessels, boats, generators, control sensors, control panels, battery power sources, AC/DC circuits, and other industrial electrical related products and systems. The Marine Electrician / Electrical Engineer / Marine Engineer will have a service background in electrical and or marine engineering such as marine vessels, ships, generators, power distribution systems, navigation systems, control panels, AC/DC circuits, and or similar electrical engineering products / systems. Package £45,000 - £55,000 Annual bonus Private healthcare Company pension Additional benefits Marine Electrician / Electrical Engineer / Marine Engineer Role To provide electrical repair, service, and maintenance on industrial electrical systems such as marine vessels, boats, generators, control sensors, control panels, battery power sources, AC/DC circuits, and other industrial electrical related products and systems. Will ensure compliance with the 18th edition wiring regulations for all electrical work completed Submit accurate visit and time sheets duly signed by the customer upon completion of the work. Perform emergency breakdown fault finding and repairs industrial electrical engineering systems / equipment such as marine vessels, AC/DC circuits, generators Liaise with various engineering departments. Marine Electrician / Electrical Engineer / Marine Engineer Requirements Proven diagnostic skills on complicated industrial electrical engineering systems. Experience as a Marine Engineer / Electrical Engineer / Marine Electrician / Industrial Electrician / Field Service Engineer / Service Engineer / Service Technician / Installation Engineer or similar. Experience working on industrial electrical engineering systems such as marine vessels, ships, generators, power distribution systems, navigation systems, control panels, AC/DC circuits, and or similar electrical engineering products / systems. Will be proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and technical drawings. Offshore experience is desired but by no means essential A technical mechanical / electrical / electronic / instrumentation qualification, apprentice trained, HNC, HND or Degree would be advantageous.
