Job DescriptionA leading multinational retailer / FMCG is seeking a highly skilled legal counsel to support their global sourcing operations and exclusive product ranges, which contribute significantly to the company’s multi-billion-dollar revenue. Key Responsibilities:Provide strategic, commercially-oriented legal advice on contracts, compliance, due diligence, and risk management.Draft, review, and negotiate complex global supply agreements for innovative product sourcing, procurement, and franchising arrangements.Ensure compliance with international regulatory standards, particularly in areas such as sustainability claims and consumer safety.Manage high-value disputes and oversee litigation processes, collaborating with external counsel as required.Champion legal frameworks and policies to support commercial objectives while managing risk.Build strong relationships across the company’s legal network to ensure consistent, high-quality legal support.About You:Qualified lawyer with expertise in commercial, and corporate law.Experience in handling high-value commercial contracts, disputes, and compliance matters.Previous in-house experience in a multinational company or retail sector is highly advantageous.Proven ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, cross-border environment, demonstrating sound judgment under pressure.Strong drafting and negotiation skills, with a pragmatic, business-focused approach.On Offer:Opportunity to be part of a historic UK listed retail group.Competitive salary and bonus.Hybrid working (3 days WFH).
