Missile Test Architect - 1567-1

Our client, a renowned entity within the Defence & Security sector, is currently seeking a Missile Test Architect to join their team. This is a contract role based in Bolton or Stevenage, focused on defining and managing the requirements for Test Equipment and overseeing its development through to delivery and into service.

• Collating Test Equipment requirements from all customers (Internal, Domestic and Export) across the Product Life Cycle
• Assessing design documentation to ensure compliance with CE certification requirements
• Supporting cross-functional teams to reduce test solution product defects
• Managing status and records of reported test solution defects
• Interfacing with and managing customer expectations throughout the development process
• Reporting on test solution packages' time, cost, quality, and performance status
• Acting as the main point of contact between the project team and Test Equipment supplier

• Substantial experience in Test, Electrical, and Electronic engineering
• Proficiency in Digital Electronics and Microprocessor Systems, Analogue Electronics and RF, Power Electronics, and Test Equipment Design
• Good understanding of product certification against CE directives
• Experience in requirements capture using DOORS
• Knowledge of structured Test Modelling techniques
• Project management and planning skills
• Experience in managing diverse and conflicting stakeholder interests
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to establish a clear engineering vision
• Ability to influence managers and stakeholders across the company
• Determination and desire to succeed
• Strong interpersonal and well-developed communication skills
• Willingness to travel when required, including to France
