You MUST already have the right to live and work in the UK About the role of a Manufacturing EngineerThe development and introduction of standard operating procedures and production processes Define requirements and create specifications for new equipmentEnsure that error proofing is effective Integration of new equipment into production processes Drive standardisation projects Ensure that all documentation is managed and controlled Assess and select equipment suppliers to ensure correct specificationAssess alternative manufacturing practices taking into account space constraints, material requirements and Energy performance. OEE focused improvementsProduce product and process reportsEnsure Lean Manufacturing principles are adopted and implemented through the Value stream. What will you bring to the table Excellent time management skills with a target driven approach. Ability to work under pressure, independently and within a team Ability to use problem solving tools and work with stakeholders on solution to problems. Excellent skills in MS Office and communication to all levels of the business Hands-on approach with excellent attention to detail. Experience of Lean manufacturing Excellent communication and people skills Flexible approach with excellent organisational and administrative skills.
