Design Lead - to be a manager

Design Manager - Recladding Permanent, Full-time My client are a leading contractor with a strong presence in the UK. They are currently seeking Design Manager to work on a several recladding jobs in Central London You will report directly to the Head of Design. End to end design delivery process starting from brief definition and internal alignment with various stakeholders, to appointment, management and review of external design vendors that carry out design work for projects Ensure regular reporting of progress against agreed plans to senior members of Design and Engineering and the associated project managers. Advise and ensure corrective action taken promptly to address any design issues Ensure quality and value for money received through third party appointments Help development of new tools, processes, and procedures for best practice design management Develop and manage long term relationships with key third party design and equipment vendors Experience working within multi-disciplinary design teams. Good written and oral communication skills in English.
