SEND Teaching Assistant (Year 1)

Job Description: We are seeking a caring and dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to work one-to-one with a child in Year 1 who has complex needs. You will be responsible for supporting the child’s day-to-day learning and development, including providing personal care and assisting with PEG feeding (training will be provided). This is a highly rewarding role for someone with experience in SEND support and a passion for helping children overcome barriers to learning. Required Experience: The ideal candidate will have: * TA classroom experience, particularly in a primary setting * 1:1 SEND experience, working with children with additional needs * Willingness to support a PEG-fed child (training provided) * Experience or willingness to provide personal care * Experience working with children with very complex needs About the School: This primary school in the Coventry area is known for its commitment to inclusion and the well-being of its students.
