We are currently seeking a motivated and resilient Male SEMH Teaching Assistant to join a dedicated team of professionals who are passionate about helping vulnerable young people thrive in both classroom and practical settings. You will play a key role in helping students with SEMH and additional needs, ensuring they have access to a tailored and supportive learning environment. Key Responsibilities: Supporting the teaching and learning of students with SEMH needs, ensuring their engagement and progress. Assisting in practical and classroom-based activities, particularly in Physical Education (PE) and vocational sessions. Collaborating with teachers to deliver creative, differentiated support that integrates Functional Skills. Helping to create a safe, inclusive, and motivating environment where students feel supported both academically and emotionally. Building strong relationships with students, staff, and external professionals to foster a collaborative learning experience. The successful SEMH Teaching Assistant will have: Experience working with children and young people with SEMH needs, ADHD, or other additional needs. A strong understanding of behaviour management techniques to engage and support students with challenging behaviour. A passion for helping vulnerable students achieve their full potential in both academic and practical activities. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with young people and colleagues. The ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
