Options Resourcing are currently looking for a Steelfixer for a client in Exeter. This is a 6 month project for the successful candidates, starting on 7/10/2024 Job Summary: Duties: - Fabricate and install iron and steel structures such as beams, columns, and girders - Use power tools, hand tools, and welding equipment to cut, shape, and weld metal components - Perform heavy lifting and work at heights to assemble structural components - Collaborate with other construction professionals such as carpenters, masons, and roofers to complete projects - Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a secure work environment - Conduct inspections to identify structural issues and make necessary repairs Requirements: - Proven experience as an Ironworker or similar role in the construction industry - Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, welding equipment, and other machinery If you find yourself interested in this position please call OPTIONS on 01179100570 or apply via the ad.
