About you: Access is looking to hire an experienced pricing leader to lead the central pricing function. You will set the pricing ambition annually for the firm, be responsible for the delivery of high-impact pricing & packaging projects and help provide group-wide visibility on price performance. This role will sit in Group Finance but will naturally involve working closely with senior leaders across a broad range of functions, as well as creating relationships and working closely with the commercial teams in the different divisions.

You will need to be both a strategic thinker & analytical with excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Day-to-day, you will:

Develop pricing strategy & set ambition: Identify what Access’s pricing ambition should be each year, through top-down and bottom-up assessments Communicate what they key pricing strategies, themes and initiatives that will support this – informed my market trends, competitor pricing, and customer needs Build & lead pricing team: Determine the required pricing team to deliver Access’s long-term pricing ambitions. Manage and develop the team, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement and innovation. Drive high-impact projects: Identfiy & lead high-impact projects working closely with the relevant stakeholders within the divisions/product groups. Be accountable for projects achieving desired impact and outcomes. Build pricing capability: Build the infrastructure and processes that allow Access to strengthen it’s ‘pricing muscle’. This can include: Sharing of best practices, e.g. how to effectively negotiate with customers Gather market intelligence on competitor pricing strategies and market positioning Recommending what systems & tools should be in place from pricing perspective Data analysis: Utilise data analytics tools to gather, analyse, and interpret pricing data. Provide regular reports and insights on pricing performance, highlighting areas for improvement or adjustment. Monitor progress: Track & report on progress vs. Access’s pricing ambitions. Run regular Pricing Steer Cos to keep leadership team up to date and raise any risk, concerns or highlights. Stakeholder collaboration: Build and maintain cross-functional relationships (Sales, Marketing, Finance, RevOps etc.) with internal stakeholders, both within the divisions and central team. Be seen as a trusted partner for the Executive team. Also develop relationships external stakeholders such as vendors & partners

The ideal candidate will have: Bachelor's degree from top university, with a strong academic background. MBA or advanced degree is a plus Minimum of 8 years experience in designing and implementing pricing strategies in a B2B software environment. Consulting experience is a plus Experience in managing others Passionate about driving strategic pricing improvements Excellent project management skills Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization. Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making abilities. Strategic thinking and the ability to anticipate challenges and provide solutions. Ability to work at pace and under the pressure associated with a growing PE-backed group Exceptional organisational and time management skills
